The Rating System

Coming out with the next book review  I will be including a rating system of 1-5 stars. Since we all have a different way of rating a book this page is to help everyone who sees these new ratings to understand why I rated a book the way I did.

★★★★★ – A fantastic read that I know I will want to read again in the future. (Not easy to get because I have to feel like I will definitely want to read it again.)

★★★★ – A great book that I may consider reading again.

★★★ – A good book, but I probably won’t be re-reading it.

★★ – I finished the book but didn’t like it and found it to have many flaws, either literarily or based on my own opinion.

★ – A bad book. I may not have even finished it. (Also rare since I can usually tell if it’s a book I won’t like before I start.)

Hopefully this helps. You really only have to look out for one or two star reviews. A three star book is still a good book but maybe not a book I wanted to buy from the bookstore, For such books we can be grateful for public libraries who provide us with free short term reading materials.

Thank you so much for following my blog. I hope this new addition will help those reading to find new books to love.
